- ¾ cup (180ml) warm milk

- 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
- ½ tsp salt
For the Cinnamon Filling:
- ¾ cup (150g) brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup (60g) softened unsalted butter
For the Maple Pecan Glaze:
- ½ cup (120g) cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup (60ml) pure maple syrup
- ½ cup (60g) powdered sugar
- ½ cup (50g) chopped pecans
Instructions
1. Make the Dough
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, egg, and salt. Mix well.
- Slowly add flour, kneading for 8 minutes until smooth.
- Cover and let it rise for 1 hour (until doubled in size).
2. Fill & Roll
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out the dough into a 12x18-inch rectangle.
- Spread softened butter, then sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly.
3. Shape & Bake
- Roll up tightly and cut into 12 rolls.
